How Well Made

We are Ashley Welch and Leanne Howes-owners of How Well Made and Sister-In-Law duo! We turned our passion of both art and sweets into a business of making decorated royal icing sugar cookies. Our business started when Ashley had her first baby and wanted a creative outlet to help her through being a first time mom. Moving to the Summerville area allowed her to grow her hobby into a small business. Her sister in law, Leanne, moved to the area six months later. Being in love with art and design, Leanne was eager to learn how to design the cookies and joined the business. The business skyrocketed almost immediately and for this we are grateful for our wonderful local customers who choose to support small businesses. We love being a part of everyone’s special events and bringing something sweet to the plate! There is no design too intricate for us to create!
